Terms & Conditions
The Merrion Mini Mall · Last updated: 4 May 2026
1. Overview & Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to all independent traders, makers, and businesses ("Trader", "you", "your") securing retail space within The Merrion Mini Mall ("Store"), operated by Eventszo ("Management", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing our website, booking space, and completing payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with all terms outlined below.
This agreement constitutes a Licence to Occupy space within the Store for the agreed duration. It does not create a relationship of landlord and tenant, nor does it grant the Trader exclusive possession of any specific part of the premises. Eventszo reserves the right to relocate a Trader's bay within the Store if operationally necessary.
2. Eligibility & Account Security
You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services and legally capable of entering into binding contracts. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Please notify us immediately at info@eventszo.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
3. The Concept & Space Allocation
The Merrion Mini Mall operates as a fully managed, department-style retail incubator.
- A "Hands-Off" Model: Traders are not required to be present; all sales are handled by trained retail staff 7 days a week in Leeds City Centre.
- Your Retail Space: Each Trader is allocated a dedicated retail bay, consisting of 5 shelves (70cm x 30cm each) providing approximately 1.05m² (11.3 sq ft) of total display area.
- Booking Limitations: All space allocations are first-come, first-served and are confirmed upon payment. Additional bays may be booked, subject to availability.
4. Pricing, Payments & Sales
All bookings are subject to availability and management approval. Full payment is required in advance at checkout to secure your space.
- Space Rental: Starts from £10 per day per bay or Clothing Rail.
- Commission: A flat 10% is retained by Eventszo per item sold. This covers card transaction fees, staffing costs, point-of-sale (POS) system usage, and product barcoding.
- Trader Payouts: All sales are processed through a centralised POS system. Revenue is automatically split, with 90% allocated to the Trader. Payments are issued directly to your nominated bank account via automated BACS transfer every 14 days.
5. Stock, Merchandising & Onboarding
- Product Standards: All products must be clearly labelled and suitable for retail sale. Eventszo reserves the right to refuse items that do not meet quality standards, are unsafe, or do not align with the store's brand.
- Onboarding: Early onboarding is essential. Traders must provide required product information for SKU creation and barcode allocation before launch.
- Display Setup: Traders may allow our staff to merchandise their bay or book a setup session to dress their own display. Setup sessions take place during closed hours (6:00 PM – 9:00 PM) in hour slots.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations must be made in writing.
- 14+ Days Notice: Eligible for a full refund or transfer.
- Less Than 14 Days Notice: Strictly non-refundable.
- Eventszo Cancellation: If Eventszo must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, an alternative date or a full refund will be offered.
7. Compliance, Intellectual Property & Marketing
- Legal Compliance: All products must comply with UK laws and Trading Standards. The sale of counterfeit or illegal goods is strictly prohibited. Consumable products must be prepared according to food safety regulations and include clear allergen information.
- Intellectual Property: All content on The Mini Mall website is the property of The Mini Mall. Vendor brand logos and materials remain the property of the respective vendor.
- Marketing Permission: By participating, you grant Eventszo permission to photograph and film your products for marketing and promotional purposes.
8. Insurance, Liability & Force Majeure
- Mandatory Insurance: Traders are strictly responsible for arranging and maintaining comprehensive insurance for their own stock, equipment, and displays against all risks (including but not limited to fire, theft, flood, and accidental damage) while in transit and while located within The Merrion Mini Mall. Traders must also maintain their own Public and Product Liability insurance. Eventszo's insurance policies do not cover Trader stock or property.
- Limitation of Liability: Traders supply and display stock entirely at their own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eventszo accepts no liability for loss, theft, damage, or destruction of stock. Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Our total liability for any other claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the total rental fees paid by you for the relevant booking period.
- Force Majeure: Eventszo shall not be liable for any failure or delay, nor for any loss or damage to Trader property, resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, fires, floods, extreme weather, power failures, strikes, or actions by the landlord (Town Centre Securities) or local authorities.
- Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
